Ammolite is a beautiful organic stone that’s formed from Aragonites inside the fossilized shells of Ammonites. You can also find Silica, Calcite, Pyrite, and many other elements present in this stone. Ammolite is recognised as the ‘Seven Colour Prosperity Stone’ due to its seven distinct colours; red is said to nourish love, orange promotes creativity, yellow improves wealth, green improves wisdom, blue aids health, indigo encourages peace, and violet stimulates growth and energy.

Ammonites are found on every continent, in rock formations from 400 Million to 65 Million years in age. Only in Southern Alberta, Canada however, are they found in high concentrations with these distinctly bright, beautiful and iridescent colours. This makes any Ammonite specimen with a bite mark and the Canadian iridescence a beautiful rarity.

The KORITE team has uncovered Ammonites with distinct markings on the outer surface. Some believe these marks to be visible impressions of the Ammonites biggest predator; The Mosasaur.
