Orpiment is a protective stone. It stimulates intellect and understanding of both the self and others. It stimulates growth and provides insights into what needs to be done. Orpiment promotes dreams and dream recall. Orpiment promotes the development of ideas, innocence, intimacy, investigations, and purity. It helps to aid in understanding and removing mental blocks. It eases the impact and change of death and the dying process.

Barite is a mineral composed of barium sulphate (BaSO4). It receives its name from the Greek word "barys" which means "heavy." This name is in response to barite's high specific gravity of 4.5, which is exceptional for a non-metallic mineral. The high specific gravity of barite makes it suitable for a wide range of industrial, medical, and manufacturing uses. Barite also serves as the principal ore of barium.

Barite can be used as a tool for easing anxiety. Barite helps with healing from trauma. Barite is a crystal for personal freedom and accepting one’s power. Barite can promote the process of catharsis, a purging and purification that releases repressed emotions.
