Lavender rose quartz is a type of quartz that gets its lavender rose coloured hue from the presence of mineral or metal inclusions, such as titanium or manganese.

While rose quartz can be found in multiple places around the world, it is accepted that lavender rose quartz comes from one location in the world: a single mine in the Brazilian state of Bahia! This mine is now closed.

The hardness of lavender rose quartz is a 6.5 to 7 on the Moh’s hardness scale.

As with other forms of quartz, lavender rose quartz is durable, and is not brittle.

Lavender rose quartz is not water soluble.
